Plan of Salvation: The plan of God to bring humanity back into right relationship with Him.

A. The Conditions of Salvation:

1. Repent

Admit that you have broken your relationship with God because you have sinned and sin brings forth death. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, James 1:15)

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. James 1:15

Be forgiven of your sins by confessing them to God. (1 John 1:9)

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
            1 John 1:9

2. Believe

Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood to pay the penalty for your sins, and that God raised Him from the dead. (Romans 10:9)

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to God. (John 14:6, 1 Timothy 2:5, Ephesians 2:8-9)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Believe and ask God to save you. (Romans 10:13, John 3:16)

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

B. Evidences of Salvation:

3. Obey
(Romans 6:15-23)

Ask God to take control of your life. (Romans 12:1-2, 1 John 3:23, Ecclesiastes 11:13)

The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:16

The outward evidence of salvation to all men is a life of righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:24; Titus 2:12

I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2

And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment. 1 John 3:23

Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. Ecclesiastes 11:13
